About the Class CMC School’s innovative REMS/Remote Rescue Workshop is an intensive 4-day training that goes beyond the traditional techniques taught in rope operations and technician courses. This comprehensive class introduces students to Rapid Extraction Module Support (REMS) concepts and focuses on scenarios involving challenging and hazardous environments.

CMC’s 3-Day, Vertical Skills Class will introduce a selection of Rope Access techniques specifically chosen to improve the rescuer’s ability to move independently on rope. Taking place in a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled facility with easy travel logistics, students will use industry-leading equipment to move on rope and learn how to better support rescues in challenging environments.

Covers NFPA 1006 Chapter 5 (Rope Rescue) Operations level skills. Low Angle / Steep Angle Rescue provides an intensive 24-hour class that teaches skills required to perform rescues on low angle and steep angle terrain.

Description Covers NFPA 1006 Chapter 4 (Tower Rescue) Operations and Technician level skills. Tower Rescue Technician provides a practical 32-hour training designed to teach the necessary skills for fire departments, law enforcement, and industrial rescue teams.

Our Arizona Vortex Workshop is a 24-hour, hands-on course that progresses the student through the various configurations of the Arizona Vortex. The workshop will progress from the basic set-ups, such as the easel “A” frame, to various bi-pod configurations and ultimately the monopod or “gin pole” set-ups.

NFPA 1006 Chapter 7 (Confined Space Rescue) Operations and Technician Level Skills. Confined Space Rescue Technician is an intensive 40-hour Confined Space Entry and Rescue class that provides hands-on training and real life scenarios allowing the student to gain confidence in this dangerous environment.

Covers NFPA 1006 Chapter 5 (Rope Rescue) Operations and Technician level skills. Rope Rescue Technician I/II provides an intensive 40-hour high-angle rescue class that teaches skills required by fire departments, mountain, and industrial rescue teams.

Covers NFPA 1006 Chapter 5 (Rope Rescue) Technician Level Skills. Rope Rescue Technician III is an advanced rope rescue training for the serious professional.

Covers NFPA 1006 Chapter 12 (Trench Rescue) Operations and Technician Level Skills. Trench Rescue Technician is an intensive 24-hour Trench Rescue class that provides hands-on training and real life scenarios allowing the student to gain confidence in this dangerous environment.

Covers NFPA 1006 Chapter 6 (Structural Collapse Rescue) Operations Level Skills. Structural Collapse Rescue is an intensive 24-hour class that provides hands-on training and real life scenarios allowing the student to gain confidence in a building a variety of shores.
