Jim has 27 years of experience in the fire service. He got his start at a friend’s suggestion who was working at a volunteer department. After going on his first call, it became evident that this was his vocation.

Jim currently serves with the City of Waukesha Fire Department and is a CMC School Instructor, teaching Rope Rescue Technician I/I/III, Confined Space Rescue Technician, Tower Rescue and numerous contract classes.

Rope Rescue Technician I/II

Covers NFPA 1006 Chapter 5 (Rope Rescue) Operations and Technician level skills. Rope Rescue Technician I/II provides an intensive 40-hour high-angle rescue class that teaches skills required by fire departments, mountain, and industrial rescue teams.
